Description This course offers students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and develop skills in the use of the Albanian language in various situations in which they will be located.
Objectives - Adaptability of the students with the nature of the Albanian language as an Indo-European language - Learning of basic grammatical concepts - Knowing the main categories of the Albanian language, that foreign students might be guided towards, when these categories are necessary for them, in terms of communication and Albanian language
Course Outline

1Albanian alphabet. Practicing of Albanian phonemes pronunciations. Reading some words with difficult pronunciation. Reading of short texts (without having any knowledge of the meaning) in order to practice Albanian sound.
2Personal pronouns (singular and plural). The verb “to be”, affirmative form, indicative mood, present tense. Vocabulary. Exercises for inactive verbs, present tense.
3What time is it?
4“Introducing a new student”. Interrogative pronouns; “who”, “which”. Exercises for interrogative pronouns: “Which”, “Who”, “Whom”, “What”, “Where”, “When”, “how many”
5Quiz with the learned elements
6Naming of the professions, and nationalities, in the masculine and fenminine gender.
7Masculine gender, grammatical tools and the specifics.
8Midterm exam
9Text “I am a student”. The verb “to work” and other verbs of the firs conjugation, in their three respective forms of present tense and indicative mood.
10Text: “in class” and verbs “to open”, “to close”. Other verbs of the second conjugation in three respective forms of present tense and indicative mood. Grammatical characteristic. Exercises with irregular verbs “to speak”, to say”, “to give”, “to see”

12Text “In the restaurant”. The verbs “to eat”, “to drink”; present tense, indicative mood and other verbs of third conjugation in their present tense and indicative mood.
